Entry 2,603 - Entry 2,606

Entry 2,603 - Sunday, Nov 16, 2025 at 6:47 AM Some might wonder how I can read ACIM and also be a part of a Christian church such as the LDS church, and the Holy Megillah (even parts of the gospels in the mainstream Bible) help to demystify that perplexing question. Many times when Jesus would heal someone, he would say, "Your sins are forgiven you." But also, he didn't need to say that. There were times where he merely said, "Rise up," but the same effect took place: the person experienced deliverance. Take that same idea and apply it to when Jesus did the atonement. Many Christians believe it was only on the cross. LDS are unique from that mainstream viewpoint in that they believe it was in the garden, during and after, which was all part of the atonement. So it wasn't a single moment where he needed to be sacrificed to appease God, but rather his life (as expressed in the garden before, during, and after) was successful in atoning for our sins. Oftentimes...

Entry 2,600 - Entry 2,602

Entry 2,600 - Friday, Nov 14, 2025 at 2:31 PM In the Holy Megillah, specifically the Book of Enoch, it says: "207. And it was realized that prolonged contact with artificial things, which are things unnatural, depletes life force." And I can feel that! I'm trying to go vegetarian and trying to buy only organic, non‑GMO products, but still I notice my health has dwindled. Inflammation returned to my face, my lymph nodes are swollen, it looks like I have a double chin, and I am cold so much of the time. I found out that organic farms still have about 45% of pesticides that derive from non‑organic farms due to cross‑contamination. On top of that, they are still allowed to spray organic pesticides that are still harmful to the body. It is not normal to spray harmful things on plants; even if they are considered "natural," there have been studies to show that they are still harmful to humans, though to a lesser degree.     We are in a catch-22 right now while on eart...

As recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants, the Lord indicated that He wished to have it published. (See D&C 124:89.) It is also very probable that the Prophet would have made some additional corrections had he lived longer." The JST states that Adam was taught by a heavenly angel to offer animal sacrifice as a type and symbol of the atoning sacrifice that the Son of God would accomplish. He was instructed to do all things in the name of the Son. Adam was taught the gospel, was baptized by immers...

Entry 2,581 - Entry 2,593

Entry  2,581 - Thursday, Nov 6, 2025 at 9:41 AM Actually, if you really think about it, doing ordinances for the dead ARE profound, because they do offer that person another chance to change their perception of their sin, other peoples' sin, their ability to live with their loved ones forever, and so forth. After reading A Course in Miracles, I had the realization that within many Christian churches, the belief that we need Jesus to have died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins is but a stepping stone that many can much more easily believe in and rid themselves of their fear and guilt, rather than attempting to see it right out of the gate how ACIM expresses it. It's much more vastly acceptable and easier to digest to consciousness who still suffer from a bombardment of illusions. It reminds me of the words of wisdom Joseph Smith gave for members of the LDS Church. The intent wasn't for the strongest members to follow, but for the weakest ones, so that together the...

Entry 2,571 - Entry 2,580

Entry 2,571  A Course in Miracles repeats multiple times that we created the world we see, not God. For the longest time, I could not understand or reconcile how that could be possible if we are extensions of the Infinite Creator, but then, after musing on Book 2 of the Law of One by I Am Ra, it fit so neatly like a piece of a puzzle. It talks about how, before the distortion of free will, the Law of One, the Infinite Creator, is both intelligent infinity and intelligent energy (potential and kinetic energy). From this place, we were begotten as sons of God through the distortion of the law of free will and the distortion of Logos (love). The law of free will was brought forth so that God could know itself, and the distortion of Logos was created to shape and form (light) into various universes, solar systems, and galaxies in order to experience itself (love).  To know oneself was made possible through the law of free will. To experience love was made possible through the law ...
